Yesterday, i just received an email from my principles of accounts lecturer, Alan. Finally, he emailed to us the Intensive Revision that he promised us. With that, i think most of our lessons will start at about 11am.
Anyway, thank you to all my friends for accompany me out last week. I had the best week ever in years. Everyday go out and have fun. Last Monday, i was suppose to go to my Banking & Finance Exam. Suspecting that the test paper was going to be a piece of crapz, I decided not to take it. However, i accompanied my sister to Esplanade to find some score for her Percussion Alumni to play. After that, we went to Candy Empire in Millenia Walk where they sell chocolates from all over the world(mostly from Australia). It's like Heaven man. I feel like buying everything from the store. Eventually, i just bought some minty chocolates.
On Tuesday, i went out with Shankeri to check out the price to get my guitar repaired. The bridge of my guitar fall out. Most of the frequent and professional guitar players told me it can be repaired. They just have to glue the bridge back and that's it. And those people who dont really play their guitar frequent told me that there is no point getting my guitar fixed. So who should i listen to?
On Thursday, I meet up with Shankeri and we had lunch at Macdonald. While waiting for Khai, we decided to walk around Century Square and chit chat. Although we didnt do anything much, we all manage to buy something which we have been looking for and had a great time just catching up with each other at Starbucks.
On Saturday, we had a gathering at Misha's house. Just like the old times. We had movie marathon. The movie "Just like Heaven" is so sweet. I realised that Mark Ruffalo always act as a sweet and honest guy. The pizza we make was fantastic... except for one slice (I ate the tip of the slice first and it happens to be full of chili, so it burnt my tongue). Haha... i actually have to stop eating for awhile to cool my tongue and continue eating the slice later. We had a great time catching up with each other especially with Zuraidah who hasn't been keeping in touch with us for some time. Wish her all the best for the upcoming posting.
Do you know that different people have different interest? Different people have different opinions in life. Different people also have different idea of what 'having fun' is. For example, Accounts may be your first love but it's an absolutely dreadful course for some people. Recently, i'm very disappointed with one of my friend. I think she is totally blinded by her family problems. She told me, "Eeeee.... you sister take chem engineering? Isn't that course is so boring?" If my friend Misha say that, i dont mind because she is not interested in science anyway. As for my other friend, i'm quite surprise she say that. Why? You know what darling, although my sister is very immature, at least she have done her research on what kind of career she wants, and what kind of paper qualification she needs. Yes... I agree that chemical engineering is a boring course to most of us in the world. Since she finds it interesting and she knows that she wants to work in petrochemical, i thought okay, at least she have a specific goal there. Worst come to worst, she knows she can be a pharmacist in pharmacy store.
As for my darling friend, guess what? Her goal is just to get to any Singapore University just to prove to her madrasah's principal that malays cant go to University. It's like "Hello"!!!! Over the years, there may not be many malays who got into Singapore University but at least THERE ARE malays who get into the University. It's your principal's ego and dumbness who choose to be blind about those kind of things. Why suffer because of her dumbness? And i dont think it's intelligent for anyone to enter University just for the sake of saying, "Hey i'm in NUS you know" and graduate with a cert which cant even get them a job. You say chemical engineering is boring... Gee, i wonder if Arts and Social Science is really interesting. What kind of course are you gonna specialise in that 'interesting' faculty of yours? Unless you are doing major in Economics, it's gonna be difficult for you to get a job. So wat's the point of going to university anyway if you fate would remain the same.
Seriously, have you thought about what do you really want to do/want to achieve after you graduated from the university? I totally doubt so! This is not secondary school or junior college anymore, where you can just plainly study for the sake of "Oh, i like to study any subjects. I prefer studying better than working because it is less boring." Right now, i seriously think she is more clueless than my sister. Btw, the more interesting the course in poly is... the more difficult the course is. For example, her sis takes the most interesting course in SP. Well, is she still in school now? Don't you think she might have given up because the course is too tough for her? No offence babe. SP got a lot of courses that combined 2 courses at one time. And they are actually a killer. One my cousin give up from the "Mechatronics" from SP, stop school and then went to TP for a simpler course in the year after that. So think about it!
Bleargh bleargh bleargh.... I hate my house on sundays. How many of you thinks that i'm well fed? Well... Newsflash, i dont get to eat breakfast on sundays. Why? I dont know what is wrong with my mum. Since i was in secondary school, everytime i woke up, bathe and gonna eat my breakfast, my mum will say, "All you know is sleep, wake up and eat. Isn't there anything else you can do?" When i was younger, i definitely start a fight with her. It's like... what the hell... cant i eat first before i do anything else. Until now, my bro is already in sec 3, he did the same but he nvr got my kind of treatment. Of course, how can i forget, he is a boy and so he dont have to do housework. All she scold him about is.... "Have you done your maths revision that i asked you to?". When his shorts are all muddy after soccer, she cleaned for him because that precious son of hers is sooo tired. When my shorts are all muddy, she will scream at me to clean them first even before I got to sit down and unpack.
Life is sooo unfair. Nobody says that life is fair anyway. She is stressed because she have to do all the housework in the house. Well too bad, as long as my brother do not have a fair share of the responsibility around the house, i am not going to do any of the main housechores. I only stick to folding the family's clothes everyday. No more than that. Dont try to complain so much to me either, i myself have to juggle a lot of things too everyday. So my best solution is, "Why dont you ask your precious son, who has been playing ps2 all the day, to help you, ya?" Sometimes, she will leave my unfolded clothes in the basket and fold the other member's clothes. Oh well, folding my own clothes is better than folding 7 ppl's bulk of clothings. The difference is folding my own clothes took me less than 3 mins flat whereas folding my whole family's clothes took me half an hour.
Fortunately, i get to eat breakfast from Monday to Saturday in peace. From monday to friday, i'll wait for her to send my brother to school and then i'll eat my breakfast. On Saturday morning, i'll wait for her to go to the market and then i'll have my breakfast. Sometimes, if she give that stupid comment on sundays, i'll just dont eat her cooking. I'll buy biscuits to munch on or drink Milo to survive. Then she will ask me, "why i nvr eat her cooking?" I simply said, "I thought i dont deserve to eat them because i nvr do any work."
My baby bro is sooo cute. He means the whole world to me. But for the past few months, he always disturb me! I cant switch on my laptop to check my email peacefully. Everytime i switch on my laptop, he will persistently ask, "I want to play, i want to play." Such an irritating brat. Today, i dont even get the chance to switch it on and he is already like, "I want to play laptopn NOW!" What the hell... I straightaway keep everything and he cried like a baby as though someone beat him. Well, i nvr beat him of course. I dont even dare to lay my fingers on him. And my mum, typical, she will blame me... like it is all my fault. Say i'm not good enough to take care of my bro larh, i always in front of my laptop larh and bla bla bla. Well, i dont beat him and that is good enough. After I already switch off and not using the laptop anymore for the day all because of her precious brat, cant she just SHUT UP!! Her precious brat have done a good job depriving me from my laptop just because he cant get his hands on them. Haiz... my bro should learn that he cant expect everyone to give in to him all the time you know. All he will be such a spoiled irritating brat for life. Haiz... Sunday Blues....
